The Chickens of Grandia Xtreme, sometimes called the Chicken Dog and Chicken Cat, or the Sunfish Chickens, are minor non-playable characters that can be found in Locca.

The "dog" Chicken can be encountered throughout the game, and can be found in the main outside area of Locca. When Evann first encounters this creature, he questions what it is, as though it appears to be a giant chicken, much to his bemusement, it acts and barks like a dog. Whilst it seems like the Chicken was a collective village pet that all of Locca used to take care of, since most of the villagers moved out, the responsibility fell to Ben and his son. The Chicken can often be found at the marker near to Juston's house, as the villagers of Locca used to feed it at that point.
In Chapter Four, another smaller chick can be found in the vacant armoury. Though this Chicken meows instead of barking, Evann concludes that it must be the offspring of the larger Chicken.
