Danda is a playable character in Grandia: Parallel Trippers, Danda returns to assist Yuuhi in his quest to find his way back to his home. Danda is recruited in Tree Sea, after finding Naina trapped inside the abandoned ship. Danda can only be recruited to the party after the events of the main story.

Danda is a powerhouse character with very high physical skills but his lack of magic is shown in his poor magical attack and defense which is some of the lowest ratings for these stats in the game. Danda has fairly low AP preventing him from using some or the more powerful action cards until they are at the maximum level 50.

In Grandia: Parallel Trippers, Danda can wield mace and axe based skills and although he cannot possess magic of any kind, he has the power to utilize monster skills. Despite being recruited after the events events have finished, Danda's skills aren't particularly high.
