The Red Rain, also known as the rain of death is a toxic form of rain that falls upon The Lost World. It can only be stopped when the Hero of Legend returns the Spear of Heroes to Dight. In Grandia, Gadwin believes the rain is coming when the party enters the Village of Dight, after a village meeting The Elder decides that Gadwin must go to the Typhoon Tower and complete the test set out in legend or the rainfall will never stop. Gadwin agrees but must complete the challenge with a partner, Justin volunteers and the whole party make their way to the tower.
After receiving the Spear of Heroes from Typhoon Tower, the rain stops and the village is saved.
