Wendy is a minor non-playable character in Grandia Xtreme. She is a waitress who works in the Diner at Locca. Talking to Wendy at certain parts of the game will sometimes trigger dinner cutscenes. Despite the use of her given name used after talking to her for the first time, her dialogue tag will always call her "Waitress". She is from the capital of Nortis, where her family still live, and was hired by the army to work serving food after she lost her previous job as a nurse.
Though hospitable, Wendy is clumsy and slightly scatterbrained. She mentions she breaks cups and plates a lot and that she surprises herself when she manages not to. During Chapter Four, Brandol begins to develop a crush on her and starts to eat at the Diner a lot in order to spend time with her, but she appears completely oblivious to his feelings, as he never gains the courage to tell her about them.
In a conversation she has with Carmyne is is revealed that Wendy's family are wealthy and live in an expensive district in Nortis's capital. She also says in a different conversation that she lost her job as nurse because she was too clumsy. Another conversation reveals that she doesn't have a good relationship with her father, who is a bit of an oddball, and this may have influenced her decision to move away from the capital.
If not at the Diner, she can be found wandering around Locca, sometimes talking with Brandol, Carmyne, or Ben's Wife.
